Answer: The Gorilla Grip silicone feeding mat is designed to accommodate various bowl sizes and typically measures around 23 x 15 inches. This size provides ample space for your pet's food and water bowls, ensuring that there is no mess on your floors. The slip-resistant raised edges help contain any spills or overflow, which is especially useful for water bowls or pets that tend to play with their food. Use it in your kitchen or dining area for a clean pet feeding experience. -
Question:
Is the Gorilla Grip mat safe for my pets?
Answer: Yes, the Gorilla Grip mat is made of 100% BPA-free silicone, making it a safe choice for both cats and dogs. This material ensures that harmful chemicals won't leach into your pet's food or water, which is paramount for their overall health. Additionally, the silicone surface is non-toxic and easy to clean, providing a sanitary feeding environment. A worry-free feeding area encourages regular hydration and healthy eating habits in your pets. -
Question:
How does the slip-resistant feature work?
Answer: The slip-resistant feature of the Gorilla Grip feeding mat is designed to keep bowls in place during mealtime. The mat's textured surface grips the floor effectively, while the raised edges prevent bowls from tipping over or slipping. This is especially beneficial for energetic pets who might push their bowls around. It protects your floors from scratches and water damage, enhancing your pet's feeding experience while maintaining a tidy space. -
Question:
Can I use the Gorilla Grip mat for other purposes?
Answer: Absolutely! While designed for pet feeding, the Gorilla Grip silicone mat is versatile enough for various uses around the home. It can serve as a base for craft projects, a non-slip surface for kitchen items, or even as a pet grooming station. Its waterproof nature makes it suitable for messy activities, so you can enjoy a clean and organized space in multiple areas of your home beyond just feeding time. -
Question:
Are the stainless steel bowls included in the set dishwasher safe?
Answer: Yes, the stainless steel bowls included in the Gorilla Grip set are dishwasher safe, making cleaning a breeze. Their durable design withstands repeated wash cycles without losing shine or integrity. This convenience is especially beneficial after a meal, as quick cleaning means you can maintain hygiene effortlessly. This feature is ideal for busy pet owners who want to ensure their pets always have clean dishes ready for use. -
Question:
What makes this feeding mat waterproof?
Answer: The Gorilla Grip feeding mat is made of silicone, which is inherently waterproof. This feature ensures that spills or excessive water from your pet's bowl are contained within the mat's edges, preventing damage to your flooring. This waterproof design allows for worry-free feeding, making cleanup quick and easy. Ideal for households with pets that are messy drinkers, it significantly reduces the need for constant floor maintenance. -
Question:
How does the mat help with excess food and water?
Answer: The raised edges of the Gorilla Grip feeding mat are specifically designed to catch any spilled food or water, creating a barrier against messes. This is particularly useful for pets who tend to be messy eaters or drinkers. It prevents food from rolling off and keeps your floors clean, allowing you to focus on enjoying time with your pets instead of worrying about cleaning up. This makes it a practical solution for busy households. -
Question:
Can I use this mat for large breeds?
Answer: Yes, the Gorilla Grip silicone feeding mat is suitable for both small and large breeds. Its ample size and sturdy design can handle multiple bowls used by larger pets comfortably. The slip-resistant feature ensures that even the most enthusiastic eaters can enjoy their meal without pushing the bowls around. This makes it a great option for multi-pet households or for those with larger canine companions. -
Question:
Is the Gorilla Grip mat easy to store?
Answer: Yes, the Gorilla Grip silicone feeding mat is lightweight and flexible, allowing for easy storage. When not in use, you can roll or fold it, making it convenient to tuck away in a cupboard or drawer. This is especially beneficial for pet owners who may not want a feeding mat out all the time. GORILLA GRIP Basic Bowls CWBD-ad609 Editorial Review
**** The product in focus is a set of quality metal bowls paired with a functional feeding mat, which has garnered a largely positive reception among customers. Users appreciate the thoughtful design features, such as unique finger slots that simplify bowl removal and a non-slip mat that effectively prevents movement during meals. Many reviewers emphasized how the mat stays securely in place, allowing pets, from dogs to cats, to enjoy their food and water without the risk of spills typical of traditional bowl sets. Size Considerations emerged as a theme in the feedback. While some users found the bowls sufficient for their medium-sized dogs, others felt they might not suit larger breeds, noting that even the largest size does not hold as much water or food as expected. This variance in size has resulted in additional purchasing decisions for some owners, highlighting a potential limitation for those with larger pets. Cleaning the products was cited as a significant advantage, as both the bowls and mat are dishwasher safe. This ease of maintenance resonates well with busy pet owners. The mat’s ability to catch stray bits of kibble adds a layer of convenience, making it a practical addition to any pet owner's setup. Despite a few criticisms regarding bowl capacity and size appropriateness for different breeds, the overall impression is one of satisfaction. Customers indicated that they would recommend this product to others, reflecting its effectiveness and design. **
