This traditional formulation, also known as product number TB 6032, is designed to provide a beautiful satin sheen appearance with a gloss level of 30°-40°. Now you can achieve a stunning finish while protecting your surfaces from sun/UV rays, harsh weather, and moisture exposure. Crafted as a traditional exterior Tung oil spar varnish, this marine finish contains 90% of the resin portion from renewable, natural resources, making it an eco-friendly choice for your projects.
It not only enhances the beauty of your surfaces but also penetrates and waterproofs them when used in conjunction with Waterlox Marine Sealer (TB 3809). You can also interchange it with Waterlox Original Sealer/Finish (TB5284) for added convenience. Maintaining your surfaces has never been easier as Waterlox Satin Marine Finish is specially formulated for heavy-duty exterior applications. From boat decks and bright work to spars, exterior doors, and garage doors, this finish is perfect for enhancing the durability and aesthetics of your outdoor projects. Please note that this finish is not recommended for use on pressure-treated woods or exterior horizontal surfaces in direct sunlight, such as decks.
However, it is ideal for exterior surfaces that are directly exposed to sunlight/UV. Coverage and thinning are a breeze with Waterlox Satin Marine Finish. One gallon covers an impressive 500 square feet per coat, while one quart covers 125 square feet per coat. No thinning is necessary, saving you time and effort. With a dry time of 24 hours between coats, you can efficiently complete your projects.
However, it's important to note that poor ventilation, high humidity, or cool temperatures may slightly increase dry times.
