Answer: You have to hold it in but it only takes a couple seconds. -

Where do the two wires hook up?

How do you install this product? I purchased but want to be certain I'm connecting it right.
Answer: I believe you can hook the wires up either way. You shouldn't hurt anything if they are backwards. You would just have no spark. Black is ground and red should come from the coil wire. -

How long is the wire to the engine?
Answer: It stretches out long enough for a motorcycle, Jet ski, or snowmobile in my opinion. I never actually measured it. -

Answer: Always open. Open until you push the button or pull the cord.
