    Answer: Yes, I am running 8tb HDDs in my system. I think it can support any size that the SAS standard can support.
  • Question: Can the first logical drive be crated in the management software or it has to be crated in bios?

    Answer: Both. It is easier to do it in its BIOS if you will install a fresh OS on it.
  • Question: Does this support hba/jbod? or without raid?

    Answer: No, 9260-16i does not support JBOD.
  • Question: Does it have linux freenas support? will it work with freenas?

    Answer: Yes, that is exactly what I am using it for. Did not have to do anything special. Plug it in, install FreeNAS and go.
  • Question: Can I use two of these in the same server?

    Answer: You can, but it would make far more sense to pair it with any number of sas/raid expander products that are available.
