Nutritionist's Take
Borax and washing soda are not food products and are not intended for consumption. They are primarily used as cleaning agents and have no nutritional value. Nutritionists emphasize that these substances can be harmful if ingested, and caution must be exercised to ensure they are kept out of reach of children and pets. While the packaging is resealable and recyclable, which is environmentally friendly, these products pose potential health risks due to their chemical nature, particularly if used improperly. Neither of these products fits into any dietary needs and should be used strictly for their intended purposes, such as laundry and household cleaning, rather than as health supplements or food ingredients.
SKY HIGH SUDS All-Purpose Cleaners Editorial Review
This product is a 5-pound all-natural extra strength washing soda (soda ash) made in the USA, which comes with a free renewable biodegradable plastic scoop and reusable & recyclable packaging. It is a highly effective cleaning agent and laundry booster that can be mixed with your favorite soap to increase its cleaning power or used to make your own laundry detergent, as suggested in the Q&A section. However, it is not intended as a substitute for laundry detergent. It is a very strong "water softener" and works to clean anything. According to the reviews, this product is highly effective in removing tough stains and making whites whiter, but it should be used with caution. It has strong fumes and can cause chemical burns, so it is recommended to wear gloves and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or swallow it. Also, it can eat clothing if it comes in direct contact. It is suitable for HE machines as long as your HE machine can use powdered laundry detergents. Overall, this product is highly rated and recommended by customers who have purchased it. However, some customers have complained about the cost, delivery, and packaging.
