It is an accessory for the Bonfire Fire Pit and can be easily removed while not hot. The grill top does not drop grease into the fire and does not collect grease on the edge of the stove. The product does not radiate heat and the heat deflector is not compatible with the Hub on the Fire Pit. While the grill is great and the food cooked on it is delicious, it requires time and effort to cool down and find a storage space making clean up time-Consuming. If the Solo Stove sold a storage item for the grill, or to help with transition between being hot and cool it would be more convenient. Although the product is on the expensive side, it is well-made, attractive and a perfect fit. Some customers had difficulty in receiving the full package and the product was sold by Amazon and shipped by Solo Stoves.
