The Wyze Home Security System Entry Sensor is an easy DIY setup, however, some customers faced issues with setting up the monitoring service or with the sensors not working even after pairing. Customer service was slow, and some customers faced difficulty in getting anything resolved. A firmware update caused issues with the hub, making the system useless. The system needs a hub to function properly, and the entry sensors do not work without it. Some customers faced challenges in setting up PINs, arming, disarming, etc. But, for some customers, the Wyze system worked fine, offering near-instant notifications for leak detection, with the functioning probes working well. The Wyze keypad was prone to glitches, and some customers faced difficulty in setting up the basic system. The system is compatible only with Wyze and not nest doorbell cameras.
