StarTech.com Docking Stations 127B-USBC-MULTIPORT Editorial Review
### Editorial Review The StarTech.com USB C Multiport Adapter has garnered a mixed but generally favorable reception from customers, particularly noted for its ability to facilitate multiple connections in a compact design. Users have highlighted its effectiveness in connecting various devices, with specific praise from those with HP laptops, who found it indispensable. Many experienced a seamless installation and functionality, especially for multi-monitor setups, indicating the adapter's capability to handle high-resolution video output at 4K 60Hz. However, the adapter's durability has come into question, with several users reporting functionality issues after several months of use. Complaints have surfaced regarding HDMI and Ethernet connections ceasing to work and peripheral devices exhibiting erratic behavior, such as skipping or failing to connect altogether. This issue has led to frustrations, particularly among customers who experienced the same problems after purchasing a second unit, suggesting a potential design flaw or quality control concern. In summary, while the StarTech.com USB C Multiport Adapter excels in versatility and initial performance, its longevity appears to be inConsistent, leaving some users disappointed. For those in need of a short-term solution or who value the range of connections at a competitive price, it might serve well; however, Prospective buyers should weigh the potential for early failures against their needs. ### Pros and Cons **
