Can these be used as stitching screws?
Answer: They are really for metal to wood, but I have used them for stitching. Stitcher screws are smaller in length and thread size and are designed for metal to metal. I use the proper designed ones for stitching. -
Question:
Can these be screwed into rawl plugs?
Answer: I would say yes, but that is not what we used them for. We screwed them into wood to hold aluminium sheets down and for that they have done a superb job. -

What's the diameter of the aluminium flange?
Answer: The flange under the hex head is 12mm dia, then there is a separate 16mm dia washer. -

Are the screws long enough for corrugated sheets? Thanks
Answer: They are designed for fixing corrugated sheets to timber and metal. -

Would these be suitable for use on polycarbonate sheets without distorting the material to achieve a water tight seal?
Answer: Not really, the foam washer is designed to be tightened onto a steel roof sheet. For polycarbonate sheets, you really want the soft plastic caps and seal fittings designed for the job. -

What is the length in inches?
Answer: 32mm... = 1.26 inch -
Question:
I’m planning on using them for aluminium onto wood, will they go straight through or will I have to drill a pilot hole first.
Answer: You should be ok without drilling. I gave them a tap with a hammer to get them started. -
Question:
Are these screws good for putting up metal sheds?
Answer: I used them for fixing metal box section to wooden joists on a roof. They are very good screws. I also used them for fixing the same material vertically to a wooden frame. There are screws for fixing to wood and screws to fix sheet to a metal frame, two different types. They are not used to put together a metal frame, only to fix sheeting.
