The Ludwig Breakbeats by Questlove 4-Piece Shell Pack with Snare Drum - White Sparkle is a compact and transportable drum kit that includes four drums and drumheads. It does not include stands or individual bags for each drum. The kit is made of poplar wood and is recommended as both a primary and secondary kit. The bass drum can sound excellent when tuned low with a heavy beater and EMAD batter head. The snare drum requires additional work as it does not have snare beds cut into the shell. The kit can sound great with the right heads and tuning. Customers have been enjoying the compactness and easy assembly of the kit, as well as its sound. Some customers disliked the cheap material of the kit and were not fond of the bass drum riser.
