It attaches easily to the griddle and has a thermometer for temperature control. However, the lid lacks a locking device which makes it prone to fall on your arms when opened. Most customers had difficulty determining which model it fits on, but overall, it appears compatible with most 36-inch griddle models. The screws that came with the product were too short and needed to be replaced by longer bolts. A few customers reported receiving the product with dents and damages, but it seems to be a shipping issue rather than a product defect. The hood may be challenging to close, and some customers had to pull on it to shut it tight.
