The filter is a combination of PP (Polypropylene) and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) HEPA media, cardboard frame, EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) seal foam, and polyester pre-filter. It is made in Mexico. The filter needs to be changed every six months, and the carbon filter can be vacuumed once a month. The UV bulb should be changed every 10-12 months of continuous use. The filter is suitable for smoking rooms and other indoor sources of particulates, but it may need to be changed more often in those situations. The filter comes with the charcoal filter and HEPA filter together.
