The Micro-kerf saw blade is an expensive but high-quality product that works wonders in a manufacturing business for making clean and smooth cuts. It is a must-have for anyone who requires glass-smooth and glue-ready results. The blade has a flat top design and can be sharpened up to fifteen times, but due to its thin structure, it should be sent back to Total Saw Solutions to maintain a proper cut before sharpening. The blade can be bored to 1" for larger saws. The blade is not recommended for cutting mild steel as it is not designed for that purpose. When cutting ultralight MDF, the blade can cut up to 2 1/2 inches due to its blade stiffener. It does not have a higher possibility of kickback on an older saw without a riving knife, and the teeth are ground flat top. The blade can be used on a SawStop or any other saw that uses 10-inch blades. However, it is recommended to Consult the SawStop people about thin kerf blades.
