Hirate Plate Casters Editorial Review
Hirate Side Mount Casters Set of 4 with Brake The Hirate Side Mount Casters Set of 4 with Brake is a versatile set of casters that can be used for a variety of purposes, including furniture, baby beds, suitcases, cabinets, and tables. The set provides a convenient way to add mobility to your items, making them easier to move around. One of the main advantages of these casters is the side mounting option. While most casters are mounted on the bottom of an item, these side mount casters offer a unique solution for specific needs. The set includes screw holes for the side, as well as one screw at the bottom, ensuring a secure and sturdy installation. The poly wheels are another standout feature of these casters. They are designed to be quiet and smooth, allowing for easy movement without disturbing noise. The locking mechanism is friction-based, ensuring a secure hold in place. In terms of installation, some customers have had issues with the provided screws. A few reviewers recommend using longer screws, as the ones included may not be sufficient for certain installations. Additionally, one customer reported that the metal on the sides is not very sturdy, suggesting that these casters may be better suited for smaller items. Overall, the Hirate Side Mount Casters Set of 4 with Brake offers good quality and value. Customers have found them to be a satisfactory replacement for hard-faced casters that don't work well on hard surfaces. They are Considered easy to install and use, making them a convenient solution for those in need of side-mounted casters.
